PLoS Medicine Jun 09, 2019
Fathallah-Shaykh HM, et al. - A retrospective observational study was carried out by the observers that set determine an earlier growth of low-grade gliomas via a computer-assisted diagnosis (CAD) method. One hundred and sixty five patients diagnosed with grade 2 gliomas were reviewed. Delays in detecting the growth of low-grade gliomas were significantly associated with the current practice of visual comparison of longitudinal MRI scans. Beneficiary points of CAD detecting significantly smaller volume growth than visual comparison alone were concluded.
