Alam U, et al. - In this overview, authors sought to target on kinetics, kinematics and posture during gait in diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients, they have distinguished an intimate link between diabetic peripheral neuropathy and abnormalities in gait and demonstrated an increased risk in falls for older patients with diabetes. As such, they have distinguished a need for future study on the role of gait abnormalities in the establishment of diabetic foot ulceration and subsequent amputations.
