Olofsson B, et al. - This follow-up study was performed to examine the development of dementia within 3 years of femoral neck fracture repair surgery, with a focus on postoperative delirium (POD) as a potential predictive factor. Findings revealed that geriatric hip fracture patients who showed POD ought to be monitored closely for the development of dementia.
