Development and validation of noninvasive MRI‐based signature for preoperative prediction of early recurrence in perihilar cholangiocarcinoma
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Jul 28, 2021
Zhao J, Zhang W, Zhu YY, et al. - This study was intended to construct a novel signature based on clinical and/or MRI radiomics features of perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA) to preoperatively predict early recurrence (ER). Researchers enrolled a total of 184 patients (median age, 61.0 years; interquartile range: 53.0–66.8 years) including 115 men and 69 women. This study’s findings demonstrate that a noninvasive model combining the MRI-based radiomics signature and clinical variables has the potential to preoperatively predict ER for pCCA.
