Lee JH, et al. - This study used anatomical landmarks, age, height, and weight of infants in order to offer a guideline for the optimal depth of central venous catheters at the left internal jugular vein in infants. Researchers reported that a simple formula using height can determine the optimal depth of a central venous catheter at the left internal jugular vein in infants.
