Detection of high GS risk group prostate tumors by diffusion tensor imaging and logistic regression modelling
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Apr 16, 2018
Ertas G - Using logistic regression modelling, authors sought to estimate the value of joint evaluation of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) measures for identifying the high GS risk group prostate tumors. They examined tumors imaged using DTI on a 3 T MRI device. Yielded data displayed that the joint evaluation of mean diffusivity (MD) and fractional anisotropy (FA) diffusion tensor imaging measures was beneficial for detecting high GS risk group peripheral zone prostate tumors. Nonetheless, the accuracy of the detections was significantly improved due to the use of the ratios of the measures. As per the logistic regression modelling, a favorable solution was yielded for the joint evaluations easily adoptable in clinical practice.
