Dermatomyositis panniculitis: A clinicopathological and immunohistochemical study of 18 cases
Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Jun 27, 2018
Santos-Briz A, et al. - The clinicopathological and immunohistochemical findings in a series of 18 patients with panniculitis associated with dermatomyositis were described in this analysis. The clinical data of the cutaneous lesions as well as the characteristic clinical and laboratory findings in each patient was collected. It was observed that panniculitis in dermatomyositis was rare. Researchers reported that histopathologic findings of panniculitis dermatomyositis were identical to those of lupus panniculitis, therefore, the final diagnosis needed clinic–pathologic correlation.
