Sunderji S, et al. - The authors evaluated the caries experience in the primary dentition of children born with cleft lip and palate (CLP). They found a greater risk of enamel hypoplasia and dental caries in children with cleft lip and palate. Between unilateral or bilateral CLP cases, no significant caries experience difference was observed.
