Dementia as a predictor of mortality in adult trauma patients

Jordan BC, et al. – An analysis was designed to analyze dementia as a predictor of mortality in trauma patients when compared to case–matched controls. The data showed that dementia does not appear to increase the risk of mortality in trauma patients. Further research should evaluate post–discharge outcomes in dementia patients.
