Traube C, et al. - This research incorporated the analysis of the incidence of delirium and its risk factors in hospitalized children with cancer. The findings disclosed that delirium was a frequent complication during admissions for childhood cancer. It exhibited a connection with increased hospital length of stay. In order to characterize delirium in this high-risk population and to detect the modifiable risk factors to improve the care provided to hospitalized children with cancer, additional assessments were required.
