Delayed diagnosis of atrial fibrillation after first-ever stroke increases recurrent stroke risk: A 5-year nationwide follow-up study

Chou PS, et al. - The link between the timing of atrial fibrillation (AF) diagnosis after stroke and clinical outcomes were comprehensively evaluated in this study. The findings revealed a rise in the risk of recurrent stroke as a result of the delayed diagnosis of AF after stroke, especially in men.
