Mills JL, et al. - Researchers here sought to assess if iodine deficiency is associated with decreased fecundability. As per findings, moderate to severe iodine deficiency was associated with a 46% decrease in fecundability. They observed significant delays in becoming pregnant at iodine concentrations that are common in women in the USA and parts of Europe.
