Pan L, et al. - This study retrospectively assessed risks and clinical features of deep sternal wound infection (DSWI) following cardiac surgery in the Chinese population. Findings showed the association of DSWI with several risk factors and pointed to the potential of effective intervention strategies for improving the outcome of patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
