Osaka T, et al. - This research incorporated an examination of the link between the creatinine/cystatin (Cre/CysC) ratio and sarcopenia in subjects with type 2 diabetes. Based on the results, it was inferred that the Cre/CysC ratio was related to an increased risk of sarcopenia. Therefore, the Cre/CysC ratio was suggested as a practical screening marker for sarcopenia in the study cohort.
