Decreased serum vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels affect sleep quality in children with familial Mediterranean fever

Ekinci RMK, et al. - In a study population comprising pediatric FMF patients, researchers analyzed serum vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels and their correlation with self-reported sleep quality. A possible positive role of B12 on effective sleep was reported. Essentially, protective impact of vitamin D against sleep disorders and poor sleep was suggested, it may also improve daytime activities.
