Daycare attendance and respiratory tract infections: A prospective birth cohort study

Schuez-Havupalo L, et al. - The burden of respiratory tract infections (RTIs) was comprehensively studied, in young children with regard to day-care initiation. A rapid increase was noted in the respiratory infections after the start of daycare. A considerably fast decline was seen in the course of time with continued daycare. The families warranted support around the beginning of daycare.
