Cutaneous manifestations of small-vessel leukocytoclastic vasculitides in childhood
Clinical Reviews in Allergy and Immunology Sep 05, 2017
Lava SAG, et al. – This paper explored the cutaneous manifestations of small–vessel leukocytoclastic vasculitides in children. The cutaneous manifestations were large, round, red to purpuric plaques (often with a targetoid appearance) predominantly over the cheeks, ears, and extremities. They appeared to be tender non–pitting edema of the distal extremities, ears, and face (without pruritus). Such symptoms remitted without sequelae within 2 months in HenochÂSchonlein and 3 weeks in FinkelsteinÂSeidlmayer syndrome.
