Kuno H, et al. - In this present study, the authors evaluated the performance of pretreatment CT texture analysis for the prediction of treatment failure in primary head and neck squamous cell carcinoma treated with chemoradiotherapy. An association was found between independent primary tumor CT texture analysis parameters with local failure in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients who were treated with chemoradiotherapy.
