CT features of the usual interstitial pneumonia pattern: Differentiating connective tissue disease–associated interstitial lung disease from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
American Journal of Roentgenology Mar 08, 2018
Chung JH, et al. - It was determined whether or not specific CT findings aid in differentiating a usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) pattern of connective tissue disease (CTD)-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD) from a UIP pattern of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and whether or not these signs correlated with survival. The correlation between UIP with IPF was shown. CTD-ILD is a suspicious finding in the care of patients with any of the 3 CT signs.
