CSF biomarkers β-amyloid, tau proteins and a-synuclein in the differential diagnosis of Parkinson-plus syndromes
Journal of the Neurological Sciences Oct 01, 2017
Vasilios CC, et al. - The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biochemical profile of patients with Parkinsonism was examined in this study. In distinguishing Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients with a corticobasal syndrome phenotype from non-AD corticobasal syndrome (CBS) patients, CSF biochemical profile analysis was important. In the differential diagnosis of multiple system atrophy (MSA) from Parkinson's disease (PD), the tau protein/amyloid-beta (τT/Aβ42) ratio was useful.
