Cross-sectional epidemiological analysis of the Nagahama Study for correlates of overactive bladder: Genetic and environmental considerations
The Journal of Urology Oct 26, 2017
Funada S, et al. - This paper incorporated an inquiry of the prevalence of overactive bladder in a Japanese cohort. Additionally, it investigated if genetic and environmental factors exerted an impact on the overactive bladder. A Greater prevalence of overactive bladder was brought to light among men than in women, particularly among the elderly. It was noted that the environmental factors exhibited a greater tendency of contributing to the overactive bladder, rather than genetic variants.
