Vercelli S, et al. – This investigation aspired to translate and validate an Italian version of Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS–I). The finding that POSAS–I could be used to examine patients with surgical scars was validated in this trial. Observer Scar Assessment Scale (OSAS)–I appeared to be beneficial for clinical and research purposes. However, Patient Scar Assessment Scale (PSAS)–I ought to be better used to capture patients' own opinions and symptoms in clinical settings.
