Khouja T, et al. – The cost–effectiveness pit and fissure sealants (PFS) method was compared with fluoride varnishes (FV) in preventing dental caries lesions on the occlusal surface of the first permanent molar in children. Outcomes approved that PFS should be the preferred method for the prevention of dental caries lesion on the occlusal surface of the first permanent molar, especially in children who were at high risk and had barriers of access to dental care.
