Lacuey N, et al. - The researchers performed this study to identify cortical control sites for human blood pressure regulation. In lowering systolic blood pressure in humans, Brodmann area 25 appeared to play a role. Among patients with epilepsy, it was a potential symptomatogenic zone for peri-ictal hypotension.
