Murdock BJ, et al. - An analysis was performed to evaluate peripheral inflammatory markers in participants with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and healthy control individuals and to track immune changes in ALS. Moreover, the authors aimed to determine whether these changes associated with disease progression. During ALS, changes were noted in the immune system. These changes could contribute to the pathologic features of ALS.
