Correlation of echographic and photographic assessment of optic nerve head cupping in children
Journal of AAPOS Sep 20, 2017
Sayed MS, et al. - The diagnostic value of B-scan echography in optic nerve head (ONH) cupping estimation was investigated in children. The findings disclosed that B-scan echography was a reliable and consistent diagnostic tool in estimating the degree of ONH cupping in children. It could be beneficial in patients in whom direct visualization was not feasible. Poor association between echographic cup size and photographic cup:disk ratio could be due to failure to account for disk size.
