Crew PE, et al. - This single-center, ecologic study was performed with the goal to delineate the relationship between facility-wide (FacWide) antibiotic consumption and incident health care facility-onset Clostridium difficile infection (HO-CDI). Based on the findings, researchers suggested an immediate and prolonged influence of consumption of antibiotic agents on incident CDI.
