Fonseca FL, et al. - The existence of an association between ocular surface changes, xerostomia, and changes in the nasal mucosa related to radioiodine therapy was discerned in differentiated thyroid carcinoma patients. The observations made were the subjective worsening of xerostomia, xerophthalmia, nasal symptoms, and variations in the nasal mucosa, in group 1.
