Corneal endothelial changes following a single session of selective laser trabeculoplasty for pseudoexfoliative glaucoma
International Ophthalmology Oct 20, 2017
Ornek N, et al. - The goal of this paper was to gauge the corneal endothelial cell parameters after a single session of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in pseudoexfoliative glaucoma (PEG) patients. Transient effects were reported of a single session of SLT on the corneal endothelium of PEG patients. The superior cornea was more affected than central and inferior cornea. It was noted that all of the parameters reverted to pre-SLT values at 1 month after therapy.
