Corneal endothelial cell loss 3 years after successful Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty in the cornea preservation time study: A randomized clinical trial
JAMA Ophthalmology Nov 17, 2017
Lass JH, et al. - This research was designed in order to investigate if the endothelial cell loss (ECL) 3 years after successful Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) was associated with preservation time (PT). The yielded data displayed that ECL, 3 years after Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty was greater with longer PT. However, the effect of PT on ECL was comparable from 4 to 13 days PT.
