Zhang X, et al. – The association of IL–22 gene copy number variations (CNVs) with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) susceptibility was inspected. An association was noted between IL–22 CNVs and AS. Also, lower copy number seemed to be a protective factor for AS, especially in male patients.
