Controlling Taenia solium and soil transmitted helminths in a northern Lao PDR village: Impact of a triple dose albendazole regime
Acta Tropica Aug 14, 2017
Ash A, et al. – Researchers here aimed to assess the impact of a triple dose albendazole regime in controlling Taenia solium and soil–transmitted helminths (STHs) in a northern Lao PDR village. They used microscopy and molecular techniques to monitor levels of parasitism. Findings revealed a significant reduction in the level of taeniasis and STHÂs.
