Kvistad CE, et al. - Safety and efficacy of contrast-enhanced sonothrombolysis (CEST) were evaluated in acute ischemic stroke patients included in the Norwegian Sonothrombolysis in Acute Stroke Study (NOR-SASS) without large-vessel occlusion (LVO) on admission CT angiography (CTA). Among ischemic stroke patients without intracranial LVO, CEST was safe. No differences were found in clinical outcomes between the treatment groups.
