Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology Nov 16, 2020
Maccari F, Fougerousse AC, Reguiai Z, et al. - This study was carried out to evaluate the experiences and expectations of this group of patients. Researchers included a total of 235 women aged between 18 and 45 years old who completed an online survey. The characteristics of psoriasis, contraception, and pregnancy history were collected. The Simplified Psoriasis Index was applied to assess psoriasis severity. The Dermatology Life Quality Index and the Short Form-12 were applied to evaluate the patient’s quality. The results of this study exhibit that the management of women of childbearing age with psoriasis must be improved with respect to sexuality, contraception, and pregnancy planning.
