Lebeis T, et al. – This study investigated the impact of the continuation of neurohormonal blockade on hospitalizations in patients awaiting heart transplantation (HTx), Âbridged to transplant with outpatient milrinone infusions. In this patient population, continuation of beta–blockers might attenuate the risk of hospitalization by as much as 50%.
