They also gauged its usefulness as a possible prognostic marker. Data revealed a possibility of higher COX-2 expression serving as a negative prognostic factor in conjunctival melanoma. For the determination of the potential use of anti-COX-2 drugs as adjuvant therapy of this disease, additional exploration was warranted.
