International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology Feb 15, 2020
Onder SS, et al. - This is the first study investigating the use of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and intranasal mometasone furoate spray (IMS) as an effective therapy for some patients with midnasal stenosis (MNS). In this case series, the authors summarized superiority of using IMS and CPAP to treat nasal obstruction in neonates with MNS. Six consecutive cases of MNS were reviewed in this analysis. Findings suggested that conservative CPAP and IMS management can be an alternative therapeutic option for surgery.
