Congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and constitutional delay of growth and puberty have distinct genetic architectures

European Journal of Endocrinology Feb 08, 2018

Cassatella D, et al. - Researchers aimed to identify and compare the genetic architectures of congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (CHH) and constitutional delay of growth and puberty (CDGP), to test the hypothesis of a shared genetic basis between these disorders. As per the outcomes, CDGP and CHH were found to have distinct genetic profiles. In patients presenting with delayed puberty, this finding could aid in differential diagnosis.
