Computerized screening for cognitive impairment in patients with COPD
International Journal of COPD Nov 04, 2017
Campman C, et al. - This study entails validation of a brief computerized cognitive test battery, Central Nervous System Vital Signs (CNSVS), in COPD patients. Researchers found that CNSVS had high completion rate, and measured cognitive dysfunctions that were similar to the results found in prior research, including paper and pen cognitive tests. The viability of CNSVS in this patient population was supported, that may lead to better patient care. Caution was recommended in the interpretation of the cognitive performance of patients with little computer experience.
