Computed tomography pulmonary angiogram dynamic parameter correlation with pulmonary pressure and pulmonary hypertension etiologies
Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography Oct 03, 2017
Siegel Y, et al. - In this research, authors studied the correlation between computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) dynamic parameters and pulmonary hypertension (PH) and evaluated whether these parameters differ among PH etiologies. The outcome suggests that dynamic parameters of flow measured on CTPA significantly correlate with pulmonary pressure and can potentially help screen for PH. Left heart failure appears to have the greatest effect on TT among patients with PH.
