Computed tomography characteristics of lung adenocarcinomas with epidermal growth factor receptor mutation: A propensity score matching study
Lung Cancer Jul 07, 2018
Suh YJ, et al. - In a large Asian cohort who had surgical resection of invasive lung adenocarcinoma, the association between computed tomography (CT) features and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations was examined. For this investigation, 864 patients who had surgical resections for invasive lung adenocarcinomas were retrospectively involved. After matching of clinical variables, adenocarcinomas with EGFR mutations had a higher ground-glass opacity (GGO) proportion than those with wild-type EGFR. As compared to lesions with other mutations, lesions with an exon 21 mutation had a higher GGO proportion.
