Comprehensive Ryan White assistance and human immunodeficiency virus clinical outcomes: Retention in care and viral suppression in a Medicaid nonexpansion state

Diepstra KL, et al. – This study aimed at examining the association between different Ryan White human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/AIDS Program (RW) service classes and retention in care (RiC) or viral suppression (VS). Findings revealed that receiving more classes of RW–funded services was associated with improved HIV outcomes. For optimal health outcomes, some populations with insurance could still require RW–funded services.
