Yang C, et al. - This study dealt with an in-depth proteomics analysis of exosomes derived from human seminal plasma. The data unveiled that PHGDH, LGALS3BP, SEMG1, ACTB, GAPDH, and the exosomal-marker protein ALIX were validated by western blot. A more comprehensive description of the seminal exosomes proteome was yielded. It possibly served as a resource for additional screening of biomarkers and comparative proteomics studies, with the inclusion of those related to male infertility and prostate cancer.
