Gleva MJ, et al. – In this current study, using the National Cardiovascular Disease Registry (NCDR) ICD Registry, researchers determined the characteristics of adult patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) or left ventricular non–compaction cardiomyopathy (LVNC) and implantable cardioverter -defibrillator (ICD)–related in–hospital complications. Among the studied subjects, low rates of peri–procedural complications were reported. Also, as observed, lead –related risks predominated.
