Halaweish I, et al. – This research was planned to assess the compliance with evidence–based guidelines for computed tomography (CT) of children with head and abdominal trauma. Outcomes revealed that compliance with evidence–based guidelines for CT of children with head and abdominal trauma was poor with a significant number of patients undergoing unnecessary imaging. These findings indicated towards quality improvement with evidence based methods to reduce unnecessary imaging for trauma.
