Cancer Management and Research Feb 01, 2019
Gao HX, et al. - With 485 eligible patients with primary tracheal carcinoma in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database during 1973–2015, researchers evaluated the prognostic features of primary tracheal carcinoma. The competing risk analysis of R statistical software was used to analyze the potential prognostic factors. Independent prognostic factors affecting survival were identified as age, lymph node, metastasis, multiple primary tumors, and primary site surgery in multivariate analysis. Significant differences in the stratification of each prognostic factor were noted.
