Comparison the clinical outcomes with altered vs conventional fractionated radiotherapy plus concurrent chemotherapy for advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Lin PJ, et al. - Herein, researchers performed a comparison of the long-term survivals between altered fractionated and conventional fractionated radiotherapy with the same concurrent chemoradiotherapy (concurrent CRT) for patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). When concurrent CRT strategy was used for advanced NPC, altered fractionated and conventional fractionated radiotherapy (RT) achieved similar survival outcome.
