Head & Neck May 11, 2018
Lin PJ, et al. - In patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), experts compared the long-term survival of altered fractionated vs conventional fractionated radiotherapy when given with the same concurrent chemoradiotherapy (concurrent CRT). A total of 203 patients with NPC who received radiotherapy (RT) by either a conventional fractionated or altered fractionated schedule plus the same concurrent CRT were reviewed. Similar survival outcome was noted in altered fractionated vs conventional fractionated RT when concurrent CRT strategy was used for advanced NPC.
