Steinbichler TB, et al. - The purpose of this work was to comparatively evaluate two surgical suture techniques in uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) and expansion sphincter pharyngoplasty (ESP). Researchers concluded that the running locked suture technique served as an equally safe and time-saving technique of wound closure in UPPP and ESP.
