Comparison of two cytoreductive regimens for αβ-T-cell-depleted haploidentical HSCT in pediatric malignancies: Improved engraftment and outcome with TBI-based regimen
Pediatric Blood & Cancer Oct 12, 2017
Jacoby E, et al. - This study encompassed the illustration of the implementation of haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-HSCT) for high-risk malignancies in pediatric patients, with an emphasis being laid on the conditioning regimen. The inference drawn was that a total body irradiation (TBI)-based conditioning for haplo-HSCT ensured engraftment and led to acceptable results, using αβ-T-cell depletion for malignant diseases.
